Gippsland Concrete Recycling is not authorized to accept the disposal of asbestos, and thus will not accept waste containing asbestos into the recycling facility under any circumstance.
All vehicles intending to dispose of a load of waste must report to the site office.
From there, all loads of waste for disposal will be checked, and drivers will be asked to specify the contents, as well as declare if there is any asbestos contained within or potentially included.
All loads found to contain asbestos, or declared to be potentially contaminated with asbestos, will be rejected for disposal.
If asbestos is detected in the waste material after the point of dumping, Gippsland Concrete Recycling will contact an authorised company to remove the asbestos from the site at the expense of the person or company responsible.
By dumping waste material at a Gippsland Concrete Recycling site, you acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of this policy.
